Scope and Content

The collection, 1858-1988, contains: printed proceedings, minutes, attendance books and papers of the Convocation and its Committees (CN 1); membership records (CN 2); material relating to the election of chancellors (CN 3); programmes from functions and entertainment put on by Convocation (CN 4); diplomas from the Secretary 's Office (CN 5) and photographs of Chairmen of Convocation (CN 6).
There are also 23 boxes of uncatalogued material (Ref. CN) containing material dating from 1938-2003. This includes proceedings of Convocation, minutes, papers on social events, photos, reports from regional groups, Review Group papers, chairman's correspondence, Congress of University Convocations and Alumni Organisations papers, Convocation Elections papers and Charitable Activities papers.
