Dick Green's papers

Scope and Content

Dick Green was a childhood friend of Michael Redgrave, and corresponded regularly with him throughout his life. These letters can be found in THM/31/3/5: Michael Redgrave personal correspondence.

This section contains letters and papers relating to Dick Green's time in Sri Lanka during the Second World War. There are newspaper cuttings relating to the Nazi party, letters from friends to Green, notes of appreciation for the magazine which he produced, and details of pay conditions.

The papers in this section were found among Sir Michael Redgrave's personal items and correspondence. It is not known how they came to be in his possession.
