Scope and Content

2 large embroideries on black silk, one representing the badge of the Royal Artillery, created by Beatrice Clark for William George Waller (fianc), a Gunner with the RFA (Royal Field Artillery), and the other representing the badge of the Lancashire Fusiliers, created in memory of Ellis Clark (brother), 2nd Lieutenant, 1st Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers, who was killed in action at Gallipoli on 25 Apr. 1915 (n.d.).

Administrative / Biographical History

Beatrice Clark was a seamstress and corsetier at Selfridges department store in London during the First World War
