Administrative / Biographical History

The companies forming the Conveyancer Group in June 1972 were: Conveyancer Ltd.; Langham Engineering (Liverpool) Ltd. (which became Owen Karritainers Ltd in 1978); Conveyancer Scott-Electric Vehicles Ltd(which became Rubery Owen C-E Cast Ltd in 1978); Conveyancer Fork Trucks Ltd (which became Rubery Owen Engineering Ltd in 1978). Other companies whose records have not survived include: Conveyancer Fork Trucks (Nigeria) Ltd Conveyancer Pty Ltd (Australia) Paul-Walden Pty Ltd (Australia) P & W Industries (Pty) Ltd (South Africa) Conveyancer Plant Hire Ltd Became 1978 Rubery Owen Pressings Ltd. Ceased trading 1972 Conveyancer - Raymond Ltd Became 1978 Rubery Owen Components Ltd. Ceased trading 1972.
