Administrative / Biographical History

William Wesley Grant was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1909. He first matriculated at the University of Glasgow in 1927 and studied Latin, French and German in session 1927-1928. In his second year (1928-1929), he continued with his French and German studies and also studied an English course. In his final two years he specialised in French and German progressing on to the Higher courses. He graduated MA Modern Languages in 1932.
