This drawing is probably a gallery proof of an image published in the 1913 translation of ‘The Syrian Goddess’ by Lucian of Samosata, edited by John Garstang. Additional note on the drawing states ‘block reduce to ½ present size’. Handwritten note with negative states 'Temple of Byblos on a coin (drawing)' and 'A3 Slide 73' in a different hand.
