Meroë site 943/296: Small Objects

Scope and Content

Image of various small faïence objects, found at site 943/296, including (from top left) a lotus; miniature liberation table; a head of a lion statuette; head of a statuette; an amulet; an amulet representing the head of Amun ram with sun disc; an amulet in form of a human head; and amulet in shape of a vase; a headless statuette; and a head of a statuette in classical style. Includes note 'Meroë Print J33'. Album print marked '296 M12'.


Site 943 was a room discovered in a house erected over the ruins of complex of Site 296-942-948. This is why the print in the album refers to 296.
