Scope and Content

Image of a relief fragment from site 281, depicting a royal figure wearing a diadem, a decorated mantle with three large cartouches. Album print labelled 'excavated in City near inscr. 20'. 'Meroë: City of the Ethiopians pl. XII' and '281 M10' is written on reverse of print.

Separated Material

The large part of the relief is held by Liverpool Museum (46.47.726).
