Scope and Content

Handwritten and typed letters and copy letters between M. Philips Price and A.P. Wadsworth, regarding book reviews; Pakistani journalists possibly writing for the Guardian; a memoir of Philip Price's aunt, Anna Philips, by his brother and cousin; and attempts to schedule visits when both Wadsworth and Philips Price are in either London or Manchester. Included is one letter to Wadsworth from Philips Price's wife, Lisa, informing Wadsworth that Philips Price is traveling in America and unable to write a book review. Philips Price writes to Wadsworth about his extended tour of the United States, with a focus on industry and the environment, as a member of the Parliamentary and Scientific Committee.

There is also a letter from Wadsworth to Alistair Cooke, New York-based American correspondent for the Guardian, introducing Philips Price, who later complains to Wadsworth that Cooke is never available.
