Scope and Content

Comprises photographs and photograph albums of the Abramson and Kallin families (in particular Ida Abramson, her husband, Samuil Kallin, and their children, Anna, Grigorii, and Mark), their relations and friends, places they lived in and visited, chiefly in Europe; also, a list of signatures, including S. Kallin, Anna Kallin's birth certificate and some of her correspondence, a spoof certificate identifying hair shaved from Lenin's corpse, Marie Weinstein's British passport, 1957, a bound and illustrated manuscript of Mark Belsch (possibly Kallin), 1920, and Ivan Turgenev's A month in the country, translated and introduced by Isaiah Berlin, London, the Hogarth Press, 1981, inscribed by the latter to Anna Kallin
