In 1965 the National Trust launched "Enterprise Neptune: A National Campaign For The Preservation Of The Coast". As part of this the NT planned an exhibition of American and Russian space technology (amongst other items) at the Science Museum entitled "Space and Speed". Lovell was on the steering committee of the exhibition.
