Letter from Kenneth Jackson, 1 Sandy Lane South, Wallington, Surrey to Ifor Williams

Scope and Content

Thanks Ifor Williams and Mrs Williams for having him to stay.

He went to a small gathering at the Museum with Flower, Delarget, Mahr of Dublin, Robinson of Harvard, Von Sydow and Campbell of Lund.

It was a committee to get help for the study of folk-culture in Ireland. Britain is the black spot of Europe in this respect. Ireland has got the stuff better than almost any country in Europe. Delargey wants him to publish a short note on the Gras mi Gris tale.
