Scope and Content

A bundle of carbon and photocopy typescript poems, many of which are identified as being by Weissbort. A number of the poems here were published in Soundings, and the bundle presumably represents poems by Weissbort submitted to Schmidt over time. Sheet no. 1 is an undated letter from Weissbort to Schmidt, apparently relating to work by [János] P[ilinszky]. The rest of the material is made up of poetry texts. A number of the poems are untitled (represented here by the first line in double quotes followed by an ellipsis). The poems are as follows:
