Scope and Content
The papers relating to this book were in some disorder, and two items used in its preparation (corrected copies of Verses: seventh book and Selected poems) had been removed to the other Daryush book files. These are now reincorporated here. Daryush was deeply concerned with accuracy both in text and layout, and produced several drafts of some of the works included; it is not always clear in what order these came to Carcanet.
