Page proofs of the volume from introduction onwards; these are noted as including the corrections of both Hepworth and Debbie [probably Debbie Mitchell, who did some proof-reading for Carcanet during this period]. The corrections are made in Robert Wells's hand, using red to indicate typesetting errors and blue to indicate other changes. Page references have been transferred here from the other set of proofs (in /2), and faulty typeface or spacing have been indicated in black ink. In one or two cases, pages from Hepworth's own corrected proofs appear to have been inserted; these are indicated by textual corrections made in black ink. Stored with: typescript contents pages; duplicated proof of pages 338-339 which appear to be taken from Hepworth's own proofs; and a corrected proof of page vi of the volume.
