The manuscript of Poetry Nation II does not survive in its entirety. The bulk of what remains is foliated in a sequence running from 101-206. It consists of the final page of the Lennox Berkeley interview and all of the essays which appeared in the journal, as well as various advertisements which appeared. The material submitted by contributors is in the form of ribbon, carbon or photocopy typescripts, often signed by the author. This has been marked up for printing by Michael Schmidt, who has also carried out some minor editing in black ink; further printing instructions were added in pencil, probably at the printing house.
