Sections of galley proof of the issue, which lack: letters to the editor; news and notes; essay by Walter Michel; contributors' notes; and book reviews by Schmidt and Davis. These appear to represent the contributors' proof stage of the issue. They are copies of galleys which already included some handwritten corrections made at the printing house before being copied and sent out to contributors. They have been corrected by their respective authors and a number of them signed. Hooker has indicated that one of his poems, 'Now Dandelions Rise', should be omitted from the magazine. A number of the galleys still retain the slip requesting their return to Schmidt. Includes covering letters to Helen Ramsbotham from Gascoyne and Wilmer.
