Scope and Content

River Dee Co. v. Potts et al.

(i) Reginald Potts of Chester, solicitor, as agent for Charles William Potts of Chester esq.

(ii) The Credit Company Ltd., and the Company of Proprietors of the Undertaking for recovering and preserving the Navigation of the River Dee.

1. Agreed that the said Charles William Potts shall consent to a judgement in favour of (ii) in an action over title to foreshore on south bank of River Dee for nominal sum of 1s.

2. The said Charles William Potts and others (specified) to have liberty for 10 years from date of this agreement to erect wooden landing stage on said foreshore for yearly sum of £1.1s.

Provisions on maintenance of foreshore and extension of easement period.
