Manuscript letter. Addressed to 'My dears'. Written on a train to Dallas, Texas. Describes visits to Cornell College, Iowa State University and Gunnell College; criticises the people of the mid-west; stay with Professor Bergsthaler at Cornell; poor conditions of farmers; Agnes Maude Royden preaching to packed houses at St Louis Cathedral and in Kansas City, where her visit has been well publicised; visits to Topeka and Witchita; meeting with Reverend Charles M Sheldon. With note containing risqué limerick and describing opposition to Royden's visit to Topeka from a sect, the Nazarines.
