Minutes of meetings of the Board of Studies, 1959-1993, including draft policy on multi-cultural, anti-racist education, 1986; and photographs, 1977-1979. Board of Studies was known as Academic Board from 1987/88 onwards.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Board of Studies was established in 1959 under the new Colleges of Education (Scotland) Regulations, to advise the Principal and Board of Governors on academic matters. From 1987/88 onwards the Board of Studies was known as the Academic Board.
