Scope and Content

Map of the manors of Laxton and Kneesall, owned by Sir William Courtenay, drawn by Mark Pierce in 1635, based on a survey made by Francis and William Mason in 1625 (on parchment, scale c. 1:3,950); together with a terrier of the manors (1635), with plans of new enclosures at Laxton (1732) and surveys and plans of parts of Laxton (1727).
