Volume contains a description of work in Madagascar. JS also carried out architectural work on the island, designing churches. Includes some press cuttings from the LMS Chronicle, on the Sibree's work in Madagascar, addresses to JS (1915). List of architectural work done on island, writings (up to 1925). In 1915 JS retired as a missionary and spent the rest of his life in England. The journal contains descriptions of life in Britain during the war. Deborah Sibree was ill, and much time had to be spent in nursing her, she died on 21 Jul 1920. Includes various press cuttings describing the work of the Sibrees, and obituaries. Autographs cut from an autograph book, details about Sibree family history. Letters to JS.
