Correspondence, contracts and press cuttings of reviews relating to Mary Wright Connell’s Help is on the way, published by The Bodley Head, 1986. Much of the editorial work was undertaken by Reinhardt’s wife, Joan, and the correspondence includes some social and personal letters. The correspondence includes texts of some of the poems included in the work, as well as poems and cartoons rejected from the final work, also correspondence offering her novel ‘Nearest of kin’, which was rejected. Correspondents include: Graham Greene, who wrote the preface to the work, Elisabeth Dennys, Graham Greene's niece and secretary, Maureen Rissik, Quentin Hockliffe and James Michie, all of The Bodley Head, Elizabeth Bowes Lyon, of Reinhardt Books, and Peter Mayer, of Penguin Books.
