Correspondence, etc. relating to H.F.L. (Publishers), etc. 1923-1955. Includes: articles of association, royalty statements, accounts and other papers relating to the company, including its takeover of H. Foulks Lynch and Co Ltd, and a tribute to the latter firm on its seventieth anniversary; correspondence on the revival of the Nonesuch Press by Reinhardt, primarily to publish an original-spelling edtion of the works of William Shakespeare; correspondence and a report on proposals to publish Raymond Postgate's Good food guide and Ivor Brown's Theatre year book, principally between Reinhardt or the company secretary John R.
