Scope and Content

With the British Broadcasting Corporation, both in London and Bristol, relating to various enquiries made by MK in the course of his research, and including information on: the performance of Norfolk Rhapsody No. 1 at the Henry Wood Promenade Concert in 1906, and of the Fantasia on English Folk Song: Studies for an English Ballad Opera at the Proms of 1910; Symphony No. 5; broadcast performances of the incidental music for The Pilgrim's Progress; the music for the film, Coastal Command; Nothing is here for tears; Six Choral Songs (in time of War); England, my England; Thanksgiving for Victory; Partita; the radio serial, The Mayor of Casterbridge (1953) for which RVW wrote the incidental music; some hymns included in The Daily Service volume (1936).
