With Ruth Noyes and Pat Shaw of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, relating to details of dates and first performances of various works by RVW, primarily folk-dance arrangements, folk songs, and sources for his hymn tunes, including: On Christmas Night; Six Studies in English Folk Song; The Running Set; Flourish of Trumpets for a Folk Dance Festival (founded on the 'Morris Call'); The Tempest; a large number of folk songs on which RVW based the tunes in the English Hymnal (1906); the folk song, The Lawyer (later The Green Meadow in Folk Songs of the Four Seasons; see KEN/3/1/14, 3/1/73, 3/1/88 & 3/1/114). Other topics covered include: names and dates of officials of the Society and its predecessor bodies, and various individuals whose photographs MK wishes to reproduce in his book.
