This file documents the work of the Vic-Wells Association. Includes the amalgamation of the Sadler's Wells Society into the Vic-Wells Association in January 1947; Kenneth Rae's assistance to Miss Rankin of the Vic-Wells Association in organising tours for the Association, for example in France and in Italy, 1965-1966; Rae's efforts towards putting together a leaflet about the history of the Old Vic Theatre and the National Theatre, 1966; correspondence between Lyttelton and Albery about the future of the Vic-Wells association with respect of the National Theatre, and possible ways to encourage the support of the Association when the National Theatre is built, 1963; some notes about the possible inclusion of the Vic Wells Association headquarters within the Old Vic Theatre.

The Sadler's Wells Society was amalgamated into the Vic-Wells Association in January 1947. Kenneth Rae was Acting Secretary to the Sadler's Wells Society from ca. 1946 [the end date of his duty is unclear].
