Chronologies of the movement and appointment of committees

This file includes two chronologies of the Shakespeare Memorial National Theatre movement, as follows:

- Folder 1 of 2: chronology of key events in the movement from 1904 to 1910, including the appointment of various Committees and key resolutions taken at meetings.

- Folder 2 of 2: chronology of key events in the movement as above, covering the period 1904-1922. Includes both handwritten and typecsript copies, the latter with annotations . Includes list of names selected to form the 'new' Executive Committee in 1908, when the Shakespeare Memorial Committee was amalgamated with the National Theatre Committee.

Material in this file was not associated with specific correspondence or meeting minutes. These chronologies refer to the general progress of the movement, including its various Committees, and have therefore been placed in this sub-series with the papers of the General Committee.
