- Letters [from Kenneth Rae] to Masey and O'Rorke, 06/08/1947, informing them of the decision made by the Joint Council and the Building Committee that no work should be done on plans for the interior of the theatre until the issue of the site is settled with the LCC; and letters [from Rae] to Albery and Esher, 13/08/1947, commenting on O'Rorke's reply to Rae's letter of 06/08 (copy of such reply not enclosed).

- Letter [from Rae to O'Rorke], 21/07/1947; Rae has asked for rough estimates of the cost of the building, to be used at forthcoming Joint Council meeting.

- Masey-Rae correspondence, March-April 1946, on the issue of water level below the ground on the theatre site on the South Bank.
