LETTER: Robert Lloyd, Tregayan to Robert Lloyd Jones Parry, Llwyn Onn, Wrexham, co. Denbigh expressing his sorrow at his father's illness and hoping that Germany will restore him. He writes that he sees no possibility of reconciliation between the families at Llwyn Onn and Tregayan although he forgives his mother and sisters for their cruel treatment of him. In particular he regrets the affection he had for his sister who deserted him. He says he intends to go to Liverpool to buy things to make the house comfortable and then intends to get a wife to comfort his old age and spend his money - a settlement of £1000 - £1200 he reckons would do the job. He intends to winter in Bath because there are always some naval officers there.
