LETTER: Rich. Barker, Chester, to Mrs Yale, Gorphwysfa, Bath enclosing a reply from Mr Nicholson concerning the Disentailing Deed. He assures her that he is not making any concessions to Mr Corbet Yale but that he is convinced that he is entitled to the Deed and also to a copy of her jointure on the estate.
1. COPY LETTER: James Nicholson, Warrington to Rich. Barker explaining that Mr Corbet Yale had agreed to dispense with the residence qualification for Plas yn Yale solely on the grounds of his uncle's health and that therefore he was entitled to the Disentailing Deed.
2. REPLY from Mrs Yale referring Mr Corbet Yale's reasons for claiming a right to the deeds, and stresses her reluctance to let him have the original deeds. She is afraid that if the original deed is lost she will lose her entitlement to her annuity. (She also complains that payment of her rent charge is overdue by 3 months).
