AFFIDAVIT by Henry Ramsey Williams of Penrhos, near the town of Carnarvon, gent., solicitor for Alice Isaac and Samuel Grindley of Tyddynadda pa. Llanddaniel co. Anglesey, esq., brother of Elizabeth Young formerly Grindley. They state that the expenses incurred in Samuel Grindley going to Ireland to fetch back his sister were absolutely necessary, she having refused to come to Anglesey unless he accompanied her. Further expenses were incurred because Elizabeth had to remain in Anglesey for 5 weeks because of threats made against her by or on behalf of Emma Meyrick to the effect that she was not Elizabeth Grindley and because she needed financial inducement to come.
