LETTER: Fred Lloyd, Atherton Estate, Port Dickson to his father asking how much interest he owes on the money borrowed. He points out that £500 is the extent of his liabilities in the new estate and he hopes to get back 2 - 3 times his investment plus some shares. He doesn't want to sell any of his Sungei Salek shares because he expects they will pay 40% in 1911. He writes that they paid out £400 today being 2 months wages for the coelies whose festival starts tomorrow. A crowd of 3-400 are now outside the gin shop but they locked it up at 8 p.m.. Also 2 telegraphs re. cabling of money.
