LETTER: Richard Barker, Chester to Mrs Yale, Park Lane, Bath asking her to write to Mr Wagstaff with particulars of Plas yn Yale if it is still to be let.
LETTER: Mrs Yale, Gorphwysfa, Bath, to Mr Wagstaff informing him that Col. Yale wanted to let Plas yn Yale because due to impaired sight he could no longer enjoy country sports and occupations. There are 10 - 15 acres of grazing land plus an additional 17 acres if desired, shooting over 1000 acres and also a cottage at present occupied but which would be available to any tenant. She explains that they have planned some interior redecorating and to replace some of the furniture because they had taken some to Bath but that Col. Yale didn't want to incur any additional expense beyond what they considered necessary for themselves if they stayed there. The rent would be £150 p.a. for 3 years.
