CORRESPONDENCE: Col. and Mrs Yale of Plas yn Yale, Corwen, and 5 Brick Street, Bath and Mr Richard Barker of Chester concerning:
1. the payment of mortgage interest and receipt of dividends from investments.
2. The continuing case of MacGregor v. Hughes. Mr Bulkeley Hughes agreed to pay the interest owed to the estate and the principal by the following year. Mrs McGregor's solicitors agreed provided all the trustees guaranteed this. In a letter Mr W. P. Yale expresses the opinion that Mr B. Hughes isn't to be trusted. However he has already repaid £300 but Mr Barker maintains that in the circumstances this is the best they could expect.
