Scope and Content

LETTER: Mrs Yale, Gorphwysfa, Bath to Mr Adams saying that she needs time to reply to the numerous claims made by Wm. Corbet Parry and if the house is to be inspected then someone ought to be there to represent her interests. She then refers to some of his claims - compensation for the oak mantlepiece, charge for occupation and keep for horses and again repeats that Mrs Yale lived in a very primitive way at Yale before they took the place over. The question of hay and manure claimed by Mrs Yale is also disputed by Mr Corbet Yale. Finally she refers again to the argument over the plate which although now settled is a further proof of the sharp practice employed by Mr Corbet Yale against her.
