LETTER: Rich. Barker, Chester, to Mrs Yale, Bath, referring to a sum of £46.3s. for a survey valuation and map made of the Yale Estate in 1823 which Mr Corbet Yale is now requesting. He can not remember it but asks Mrs Yale to send it to him if she has it.
REPLY informing Rich. Barker that she has no old map of the estate, but she can remember a sum of consideration being charged to the estate for which her husband paid and suggests this could be what Mr Nicholson is referring to. She asks when is there going to be an end to Mr Yale's demands.
She complains that Mr Nicholson had asked Mr Adams to deduct the rent charge from a cheque she had sent to Mr Adams which he had no right to do.
