AFFIDAVIT: Emma Meyrick of Bryntwrog, co. Anglesey, widow, John Roberts of Llanerchymedd, co. Anglesey gent. and George Bradley Roose of Bryntirion, Amlwch, co. Anglesey, gent.. Emma Meyrick states that as the widow of Rev. Henry Lloyd, clerk, she was entitled to the reversion of Pencraiguchaf, pa. Llangefni co. Anglesey devised in 1789 by Henry Lloyd to Samuel Grindley for his life, the life of his wife and of his daughter, Elizabeth, whom she now believed to be dead. All tenants had delivered up their holding to her except Alice Isaac, widow and executrix of John Isaac, tenant pur autre vie. John Roberts confirms that he had searched for Elizabeth Grindley without effect and George Bradley Roose states that an order was served on John Isaac to produce Elizabeth Grindley at the church door of the parish of Llangefni at a specific time but that he had failed to do so.
