Scope and Content

EXTRACT FROM WILL of Thomas Parry Jones Parry of Madryn, Co. Caernarvon, then residing in Bath. He bequeaths household furniture and effects at Madryn and his carriages and horses to his eldest son, Col. Love Parry Jones Parry. The rest of his personal estate is to be sold and legacies of £21 to his brother, Love Parry Jones Parry esq., £5000 to his daughter, Sidney, wife of Lieutenant Colonel McGregor, £100 to each of his grandchildren upon attaining the age of 21, £50 to his niece Frances Ricardo Jones, £50 to his late wife's servant Sarah Rester. The remaining money is to be invested to produce a sum of £800 p.a.. Trustees for this sum are to be chosen by his daughter, Ellen Elizabeth, wife of Lt. Col. Clapham, and by his son, William Parry Yale, who are to receive an annuity of £400.

Executors and residuary legatees: Thomas Parry Jones Parry and John Parry Jones Parry, his sons.
