Fry writing from Sejovia. Saxon Turner (for an account of Saxon Turner see Holroyd's Lytton Strachey) had walked into the hotel a few days before and given him the latest news; felt for her great anxiety 'so that now I fear it will be all over' (her brother Ralph died in 1923). Vanessa and Duncan have now returned and he is alone; he felt rather odd man out as V mostly quite oblivious of anyone else but Duncan. 'I left Coue still very far from cured...but I have managed to get rid of the pain almost entirely'. Not done any painting while he travelled round but now doing a good deal of drawing. Tries not to be inhibited by the failure of his show. Envelope present.
