Strachey writing from 96 South Hill Park, Hampstead Heath. She herself had been at Chichester for a night at that time. Answers queries about 1) Falland (home of Sir Edward and Lady Fry) thinks it will not be difficult to fine someone 2) Gide - Dorothy would probably have his address. Her plans: can't accept his invitation; immersed in affairs of her sister-in-law Margaret (d. of A. Severs issue: Richard, John and Ursula); has arranged for her to go on a cure and children to be dispatched to school; house shut up etc. No date but obviously in reply to letter from Roger when staying with Pam at Wittering Chichester 14.8.17.
