The British Federation of Business & Professional Women commissioned these two reports following a suggestion made by Mr FS Button, one of the members of the Industrial Court, to Miss (later Dame) Caroline Haslett at a meeting which she had called to consider the steps which should be taken towards gaining equal pay for women.
