Administrative / Biographical History

Cambridge University Chemical Society is a student organisation that seeks to promote an interest in chemistry in the university and surrounding area. It arranges lecture meetings on chemistry and the molecular sciences, promotes social and sporting events within the society and between other societies, arranges visits to establishments of chemical interest, attempts to develop links with chemistry societies outside Cambridge, and acts as a forum for the discussion of chemical issues. The society is open to all members of the university and other persons approved by its Committee.

Open for consultation by holders of a Reader's Ticket valid for the Manuscripts Reading Room.
