Minute books volumes 2-5, 1901-1924; minutes of joint meetings, 1917-1920; General Council and other minutes, 1920-1967; Division minutes, 1922-1968; transcripts of unconfirmed verbatim accounts, 1919-1923.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Steel Ingot Makers' Association amalgamated (c. 1922) with the North of England Iron and Steel Manufacturers' Association, the Scottish Steel Makers' Association and a small rolling mill organisation in the Midlands to form the Iron and Steel Trades Employers' Association. The association established divisional areas.
