Administrative / Biographical History
William J. MIller worked in Northern Nigeria as Education Officer in Benue andAdamawa Provinces, 1952-1954 and at the Vernacular Teachers' College, TrustTerritory, 1954. He served as Education Officer, later Senior Education Officer,Adanawa, Benue, Zaria and Borno Provinces, 1955-1960. He was Principal EducationOfficer, later at the Institute of Administration, Ahmadu Bello University,1960-1968. Between 1968 and 1976 he was Principal Education Officer, ChiefEducation Officer, Deputy Chief Inspector of Education, and Chief Inspector ofEducation.
