Comprises of correspondence relating to the continuation of the Museum's royal patronage by Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and King Edward VII (1841-1910) and permission to affix the title 'Royal' to the Architectural Museum, January 1869-13 April, 1901. Correspondents include A.J. Beresford Hope (1820-1887), Henry Cole (1808-1882), Sir Thomas Mydlleton Biddulph, (1809-1878) and Sir Dighton Macnaghten Probyn, (1833-1924).
