Manuscript menu on very thin balsa wood. The base comprises four layers of paper-thin balsa wood. It is decorated with hand painting on one side. A wash of blue-grey translucent paint creates a border along the left and top edges onto which are painted two small brown birds and the suggestion of a pine tree branch, with some white highlights. A menu list is manuscript in black ink in the remaining space. The reverse has been signed or initialled by approximately twelve people, in black ink, and dated.
