Ughtred Kay-Shuttleworth [son]. Letter to Sir James Phillips Kay-Shuttleworth.

He writes of seeing the carnival in Rome and of the English and American friends they have met there. He discusses the Egyptian question and Gladstone's comments. He says that they are en route for St. Remo [Italy] and will later visit his wife Blanche's relative [Mrs Thomas Hubbard] in Cannes [France].
