He asks if his father will meet [Thomas] Salt, M.P. for Stafford regarding a proposal for compulsory attendance. He encloses a copy of the notice of Salt's motion. He reports that Nina [sister-in-law] has a bad cold so will not be joining them. He writes about education policy.
