From: [Various vocal and instrumental music]
After 20 bars, some cancelled music. The British union-catalogue of early music printed before the year 1801, ed. Edith B. Schnapper (London: Butterworth Scientific Publications, 1957) and the Répertoire international des sources musicales, einzeldrucke vor 1800 (London: Bärenreiter, 1971) give three possible concordances: a song by Domenico Corri; Andreas Lidel ; or William Jackson of Exeter (12 Songs Op. 1 no. 5), [c. 1755]. The Catalogue of printed music in the British Library to 1980 (London: K. G. Saur, 1981) also lists an anon. song, dated [1730?].
